The coalition’s mission is to connect, strengthen, and mobilize strategic partners to create a healthier Pontiac community. The coalition will promote substance-abuse prevention strategies and foster increased public health and safety through advocacy, education, and community collaboration.

Vision
Our vision is for every Pontiac resident to be able to access comprehensive substance use prevention education, treatment, and recovery resources quickly, easily, and without judgment.
Collaboration - We bring leaders and organizations together to create the collective change desired in our community. We do this by taking time to listen, build trust among residents, and offer support and resources for the community.
Equity and Inclusion - We value everyone having access to the opportunities and resources they need to thrive.
Empowerment - We provide the community with the tools, education, and support they need make informed decisions about their health, safety, and wellness.
Advocacy - We advocate for initiatives that promote healthy and safe environments for all Pontiac residents
